Cape May Cafe Pictures
Well, I started off the day with forgetting that the batteries in my camera were dead and that I had used the spares in the backpack. So, while I had another 12 back in our hotel room, I had to buy some at the hotel where we were having breakfast. They were way overpriced of course, but we were about to head in for our breakfast and our hotel was miles away. We were at the Beach Club. They had a beautiful gingerbread carousel in the lobby to look at while we waited. I took plenty of pictures of it, including pics of all of the little gingerbread figures. This was an amazing piece of food sculpting. I got to see this and later we saw the gingerbread Christmas tree in the Contemporary. I like this much more.
The kids watched old Mickey cartoons while we waited. The breakfast included visits from Minnie, Donald and Goofy in beath attire. It was a really good buffet with a lot of items that I've never seen on a Disney buffet before. Smoked salmon, asparagus with hollandaise sauce and a few things I've never heard of. One was apple based and had a Spanish sounding name. Again, I ate too much and lasted most of the day off breakfast. Both Ari and Lily loved the characters and there was plenty for them to eat. My personal favorite was the zucchini bread.
Afterwards we wandered around the front of the hotel a little and took a couple of pictures before getting in the van and heading over to the Magic Kingdom.
